The WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony is one of the highlights of WrestleMania weekend and next year's class is already being teased as one of the best ever. The latest rumors have revealed several names that could possibly be part of the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame Class.
According to The Inquisitr, Bill Goldberg is expected to be next year's top headliner since he returned to the WWE after a 12-year absence. He will face Brock Lesnar at the Survivor Series in November and it could possibly be his final match.
However, Goldberg might still have some left in the tank and he could have several more matches to full some of the fans' dream matches. But if the Survivor Series match against Lesnar is his last, he will surely be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame next year.
Other names being thrown around for next year's 2017 class is the returning Mickie James. The five-time WWE Women's champion and one-time Divas champion will be facing Asuka for the NXT Women's title at NXT TakeOver: Toronto.
James is also expected to wrestle more dates and it will end with an induction into the WWE Hall of Fame. Other names being thrown around are Diamond Dallas Page, Mike Graham, Steve Keirn, The Dudley Boyz and The Rock.
DDP is a three-time WCW World champion while Graham and Keirn are legends with their own rights. They are also from Florida just like The Rock. The Dudley Boyz, on the other hand, have a wrestling school based in Florida.
The 2016 WWE Hall of Fame Class was headlined by Sting along with legends such as Big Boss Man, Stan Hansen, The Fabulous Freebirds, Jacqueline and The Godfather, per WWE.com. Snoop Dogg was also inducted into the celebrity wing of the Hall of Fame while Joan Lunden received the Warrior Award.
This year's WrestleMania was held in Dallas so most of the inductees had ties with the state of Texas. The names mentioned earlier have ties with the state of Florida but these have not been confirmed. Nevertheless, the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame class will be star-studded.
