Fans are eagerly expecting a new "Mortal Kombat X" Kombat Pack 3 which may include new characters with additional fatalities and brutalities for more fun.
"Mortal Kombat X" has closely rivaled popular fighting games such as "Tekken 7" and "Street Fighter V" because of the competitiveness and fun factor of slicing bodies and crushing bones. The franchise has also been one of the iconic fighting games because of the gore and violence.
NetherRealm studios has not yet announced a new DLC pack for the game yet. More characters could be expected but no leaks have been spotted so far.
"Mortal Kombat X" Kombat Pack 3 is expected to be released after the rollout of" Injustice 2," Movie News Guide has learned. There is no evidence to support this but it could make sense and some characters from the said game could make an appearance as well.
"Injustice 2" is the focus of the developers for now and even after the release they might still be busy patching up bugs and releasing updates. However, they did not deny that a new DLC for "Mortal Kombat" is indeed coming.
Ed Boon has also teased players by asking whether they want the "Mortal Kombat X" Kombat Pack 3, "Injustice 2" or "Shaolin Monks 2," Gamenguide reported. It means that the third DLC pack for the game is indeed part of their road plan.
Unfortunately, there have been no Kombat Pack 3 release date leaks and the closest guess is right after the "Injustice 2" launch. There are also no clues on who or what will be included in the said DLC for the game.
Noob Saibot and Baraka are some of the most requested characters to appear in the new update. The former has been a favorite from the early games due to a spammy teleportation move that players can use in order to win the fight even by just using two buttons.
"Mortal Kombat X" Kombat Pack 3 might be released after the "Injustice 2" launch but there is no guarantee. Players will have to wait for the official announcement from NetherRealm studios regarding the new DLC update.
