"The Voice" coach and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine met a young fan who has Down Syndrome and the whole band even hung out backstage together during their concert in Washington D.C. on Monday evening.
The boy is ten years old and is identified as Christopher Warner. in a YouTube video, Warner claims to be the number one fan of Levine as he sang songs of the band and that his dream was to meet the "Sugar" crooner.
According to Ryan Seacrest, the boy adores the band most especially Levine as he not only sings their songs but also enjoys drawing pictures of the singer and dances to the hits done by the band. The one who created the video of Warner is his special education teacher named Avery Stanert and it went viral on YouTube. It was also seen by "The Kane Show" from the Hot 99.5 radio station and so Warner got to see his idol by obtaining backstage passed given by the said radio show.
However, according to the report, Warner had a panic attack when he met Levine and so he curled up on the floor where his mother tried to calm him down. According to E! News, what Levine and his band did after was very clever as they also lied down on the floor with Warner and his mother. And that's when they posed for a group photo that was originally planned to be captured when they were standing up. In order not to pressure Warner and further make him feel uncomfortable, they just joined him on the floor to wait for him to regain his composure.
The super fan was not only able to meet Levine and the band and take photos with them but was given a guitar pick by Levine and a pair of drumsticks by the band's drummer Matt Flynn.
