Motorola Moto M with the model number XT1662 codenamed as Kung Fu is in rumors from few months. Fresh news suggest that the Moto M will be unleashed to the world on Nov. 8 alongside Lenovo P2.
According to Tech Droider, trailers made by Motorola and Lenovo have reportedly revealed that Nov. 8 will mark the arrival of Moto M and Lenovo P2. Recently, Skinomi, a company that makes smartphone accessoires had leaked fresh images of Moto M on its website.
Moto M is said to be a budget smartphone by Motorola that will be allegedly sold as Lenovo product. Even though Motorola has not yet revealed its specifications, the rumor mill has leaked its full specifications along with the release date.
Moto M Specifications, Release Date
Moto M will be having a 5.5-inch full HD display carrying a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixel packed in a full metal body. The latest rumors have leaked that it will be powered by Snapdragon 625 chipset but before it was previously rumored to be fueled by MediaTek MT6755 chipset.
Speculations have it that the Chinese edition of Moto M will feature MediaTek chipset whereas the handset for international markets will come with SD 625 SoC.
The variant for China is likely to have 4 GB of RAM with 64 GB or 128 GB of native storage. The international variant will have 3 GB RAM with 32 GB inbuilt memory and its 4 GB RAM model will have 128 GB of native storage. All the variants will have microSD slot to extend the storage capacity.
The Moto M may come with preinstalled Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) OS. it is expected to receive Android Nougat upgrade the end of February 2017. It is also expected to come with preloaded Microsoft applications like Skype, Microsoft office and OneDrive.
It will be equipped with 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash light and may have 5 or 8-megapixel front facing camera.
According to the leaked images of device, it can be seen that the fingerprint scanner is located at the rear side of the device under the camera and its LED. One of the salient features of Moto M will be that it will be coming with a humongous battery of 5,100 mAh with fast charge support, The Android Soul reported.
