Selena Gomez has decided to rescue her old time pal Taylor Swift. Gomez, along with her boyfriend Zedd, is determined to find a soul mate for Swift, after the "Shake It Off" hit maker's recent confession during an interview that she fears she might remain single.
"Selena is determined to help Taylor find her soul mate," said a source close to the couple, Hollywood Life reported. "She's talked to Zedd about introducing Taylor to some of his friends and he's totally into helping Selena play Cupid."
Gomez and Swift are well known besties of show business. When the highly publicized relationship of Gomez with her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber ended, Swift had gone out of way to support the "Come & Get It" hit maker throughout her breakup.
Now, Gomez has taken the responsibility to make sure that her BFF does not remain single for a long time. The 22-year-old star feels that a guy from a European background, who is probably a bit mature and established in his career, will suit her friend perfectly.
Gomez has not recommended any one to Swift yet. Meanwhile, reports are emerging that Calvin Harris, a Scottish musician, seems eager to associate himself with the "Shake It Off" singer.
Harris and Swift were spotted chatting recently at BRITS award after party. The pair spent almost two hours in deep conversation in the VIP area of London's Old Sorting Office, Daily Record reported.
Swift, who was the winner of the night's International Female Solo Artist award, not only conversed with Harris, but the two also hit the dance floor. The pair reportedly also planning to collaborate on the professional front to launch a new track.
"Taylor is producing more dance music now and would love to write a track with Calvin," an insider quoted to Daily Record.
