With the FBI investigating the alleged physical and verbal assault incident that happened between actor Brad Pitt and adopted son Maddox, the public believes what happened between the two while aboard a private jet triggered Angelina Jolie to file for divorce.
However, in the latest issue of Life & Style, the tabloid wrote that even before their split, their relationship was quite shaky with the couple attending therapy months before the plane incident. It cited a source close to the therapist that the couple were dealing then with two issues.
The first issue was they allegedly in a sexless marriage. The second one was Jolie’s plan to adopt a seventh child which Pitt did not like. The actor was struggling already then with having a big and multi-cultural family, resulting in a chaotic and disorganized family life that he could no longer handle.
The situation had allegedly led to Pitt having a mental breakdown, leading to the Brangelina split. He reportedly felt that Jolie was more concerned about their family becoming a model of adoption than really raising the children whom the actor felt were not receiving proper care because Jolie was too much focused on the initiative.
However, In Touch Magazine claimed that Jolie only set up Pitt to trigger a smear campaign against Pitt. The article also claimed that Jolie rented secretly a house before she filed for divorce where she could hide the six kids after filing for divorce. The magazine also said that the ex-couple are battling for money over their combined $400 million wealth, the majority of which were owned by Pitt before their wedding.
