Director of "iZombie," Rob Thomas, took to Twitter to deny rumors that the third installment of the series will be its last.
The series was previously rumored to be cancelled for another season due to the fluctuated ratings and negative critical reviews of its previous installments. The sudden shift of plot of Liv's love story and the unspecified date of the show's release even heightened fans' curiosity.
Thomas did not deny the fact that the series did not really perform well in its previous seasons, but it is not enough to cancel its next installment. However, even if it is confirmed that the series is sure to have another installment, CW has not given details of its release yet.
For "iZombie" Season 3, Master Herald reported that Liv Moore, portrayed by Rose Mclver, is going to have better luck in her romantic relationships. Many fans think that it might do well for the series if her love life will have a twist for the better. It can be remembered that her love interests do not always end well as his man either dies or becomes a zombie.
Many further speculate that she may find the love of her life with Major (Robert Buckley) as the reunion of the two is one of the most awaited scenes in "iZombie" Season 3. On the contrary, TVLine reported that Thomas is actually contemplating on having a fresh start on Liv's love story and have another man make her happy, although he did not specify if it is someone casted already or a new face will appear to be Liv's love interest.
It is still unclear if she will remain as a zombie or revert back to being human in "iZombie" Season 3.
The iZombie has no official release date yet and the CW still has to think about it, but it is rumored to be released early next year.
