Prince Harry surprised royal watchers when he confirmed his relationship with Hollywood actress Meghan Markle through an official Kensington Palace statement. Latest news about the couple teased of the royal prince's plans to visit the "Suits" star and her family in the near future.
It appears that Markle and Prince Harry's relationship is going strong despite the long-distance romance. The "Suits" actress recently spent time with the royal prince and a few members of the royal family when she stayed at Kensington Palace for a quick London holiday.
Sources told E! News that Prince Harry may schedule a special trip soon to meet his girlfriend's family. The 32-year-old royal prince is already planning a transatlantic trip to the U.S., according to the source.
Given Markle's informal meetings with several of Prince Harry's family members including Prince Charles, the Invictus Games founder is already looking forward to meeting the actress' family. Markle's parents both reside in the U.S. although she is currently in Canada to film the USA Network legal series "Suits."
Meanwhile, a separate source told the same news site that Prince Harry's family and friends were ecstatic over the royal prince's relationship with Markle. A few members of the royal family have even expressed their support for Prince Harry's new romance, according to the source.
Despite the couple's romance still in its early stages, some royal watchers have already hinted of a potential marriage between Prince Harry and Markle. However, another insider told E!News that it is too early to tell whether the relationship will progress to a lifetime commitment.
In other news, it appears that Markle has always been attracted to British men. In an earlier interview with Esquire, the actress gushed over British men, the way they would call someone "darling" and how they dress during cold seasons. She explained, "There's something so romantic about a man in a scarf and a knitted hat."
