"One Punch Man" Season 1 has ended but Season 2 is not expected to air until next year. Saitama is also predicted to become new villain in the sequel of the series.
Murata Yusuke, the creator of the anime series, assured fans with a post on his Twitter that he will work hard for the series to have new season, University Herald has learned . However, he needs to do lots of storyboards and sketches in the upcoming year. Overall, the process could take up to 2 years to produce a new "One Punch Man" season.
Last season's last episode was titled "The Strongest Hero." The scene ended when Saitama countered an attack from Lord Boros, but released his own offense; an attack he called "serious punch" which turned Boros into dust, ending the battle and saving the city. As the fight between the two ended, Kamen Amai Mask-a Class A Rank 1 hero, arrives to say that S-class heroes will not be capable to save a sole brick of the city.
Another fan theory states that Lord Boros will rise once again to challenge Saitama in the upcoming "One Punch Man" Season 2, Jobs & Hire reported. Since Lord Boros has the ability to heal itself, it is belived that he survived Saitama's serious punch attack and will come back stronger in "One Punch Man" Season 2.
The said TV series will stil go the original manga's flow with the story and plot. "One Punch Man" Season 2 will be named "Hero Hunter Arc" where Garou also known as the "Human Monster" will be the main antihero.
Based on the manga, Garou is someway the similar with Saitama as he doesn't have super powers but his 'god-like' skills was achieved through constant and harsh trainings. Saitama also gained his powers through a rigorous training method of running 10 kilometers everyday with 100 push-ups.
When it comes with Saitama's love life, some expect that a love triangle will bloom between Saitama and the sisters in "One Punch Man" Season 2: Tatsumaki an S-class and arrogant rank 2 hero and Fubuki, a B-class hero suffering from an inferiority complex.
