Crotone striker Diego Falcinelli opened the scoring in the 43rd minute while Sampdoria's Bruno Fernandes equalized the count in the 71st. Both teams went scoreless after that to settle for the draw.
It was a third consecutive winless performance for head coach Davide Nicola's side as the team remained in the bottom three relegation area.
