Third-running team AC Milan (9-3-2, 29 points) will look to extend its four-game unbeaten run as it hosts bottom three squad FC Crotone (1-10-3, 6 points) at their home field of Giuseppe Meazza Stadium on Sunday, Dec. 4 in a 2016-2017 Serie A season match.

Milan has been slowly ascending the Italian top flight table in recent rounds, being undefeated in five of their last six outings.
The team is currently in the third spot in the overall standings, tied on points with second-place team Roma but has a lesser goal differential. They are only four points behind current league leaders and defending champions Juventus.

Gianluca Lapadula, who was filling-in for regular starting striker Carlos Bacca, netted a brace to lead manager Vincenzo Montella's squad over the hard-fighting Azzurri side.
Lapadula scored the opening goal in the 15th minute but was immediately answered with a goal by Empoli midfielder Riccardo Saponara just two minutes later to level the count.
Milan forward Suso then broke the deadlock once again in the 61st minute before an own goal by defender Andrea Costa made it a 3-1 count in the 64th. Lapadula sealed the win in the 77th with his second goal of the game.
Meanwhile, newly-promoted team Crotone was able to hold Sampdoria to a 1-1 tie at their home ground of Ezio Scida Stadium last Sunday, ESPN reported.
Crotone striker Diego Falcinelli opened the scoring in the 43rd minute while Sampdoria's Bruno Fernandes equalized the count in the 71st. Both teams went scoreless after that to settle for the draw.
It was a third consecutive winless performance for head coach Davide Nicola's side as the team remained in the bottom three relegation area.
