"Game of Thrones" Season 7 is expected to feature the reunion between family members, old friends, as well as the meeting of potential allies and enemies. With the speculated reunion between Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen) and Jon Snow (Kit Harington), viewers can expect to see a dramatic and explosive encounter between the two characters.
Avid fans of the HBO series "Game of Thrones" may recall Jon's animosity towards Theon given his previous actions. Season 7 speculations hinted of a potential meeting between the two characters, however, Allen teased that it may take some time before Theon will get to cross paths with the resurrected warrior.
The actor made the revelation during the Malta India Fan Convention where he shared his thoughts about his character and the HBO series. When asked how Theon would react should he reunite with Jon, the "Game of Thrones" cast member mentioned that his character will feel horrible and would take the "chance to redeem himself," Watchers on the Wall quoted the actor as saying.
Apart from commenting on the speculated Theon and Jon reunion, Allen also gushed over the HBO series' Season 7. Viewers can look forward to seeing how beloved characters will deal with their respective struggles such as Cersei's (Lena Headey) rise to power, Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) attempts to claim the Iron Throne, the impending White Walkers attack and more.
Allen even teased of how "Game of Thrones" Season 7 will feature more torturous moments and "more dragons." However, he did not elaborate whether the character to experience torture-filled moments would be his character, Theon.
In other news, HBO recently unveiled a quick glimpse of "Game of Thrones" Season 7 in a teaser clip that included scenes of what fans can expect from the cable network in 2017. With individual shots of Jon, Sansa (Sophie Turner) and Arya (Maisie Williams), many fans speculated that the three characters may soon reunite in Winterfell.
Story speculations posted on Polygon indicated how Arya may have decided to travel to the North after killing Walder Frey (David Bradley) in the "Game of Thrones" Season 6 finale. Arya may also join Jon and Sansa in their upcoming fight against their enemies and the White Walkers.
