The HBO hit series "Game of Thrones" may have shown several fight scenes between beloved characters, however, a battle is also happening between celebrities on-set. Several cast members are engaged in a prank war, according to Emilia Clarke.
It appears that several "Game of Thrones" cast members have added some silly yet fun activities on-set while filming the hit HBO show. British actress Clarke, along with a few of her co-stars, are engaged in a prank war that involves painted faces, fishy socks, crashing on-set interviews and more.
In a behind-the-scenes clip exclusively released to Entertainment Tonight, cast member Peter Dinklage made a surprise appearance while Clarke was filming a virtual tour of the show's Meereen set. During Clarke's introduction of the make-up and hair styling team responsible for her Daenerys look, Dinklage suddenly yelled, "Where's my coffee?"
Dinklage, who portrays Tyrion in the HBO TV adaptation of George RR Martin's novels, was caught trying to hide behind a TV monitor while Clarke and the make-up team laughed in the background. He even gave a friendly wave to the camera, claiming to fix something behind the monitor before walking away.
The actor's prank is just one of the funny antics that happens on the "Game of Thrones" set. Clarke has also been known to play silly jokes on unsuspecting cast members during filming breaks. Joseph Naufahu, who portrays Khal Moro, was one of the actress' victims.
In an earlier interview with the same news site, Naufahu recounted how Clarke put a piece of fish inside his socks. At that time, the actor was taking a quick nap on-set and was surprised to discover the actress' special gift for him when he woke up.
In other news, the HBO show received five nominations for the upcoming 2016 Critics' Choice Awards. "Game of Thrones" was nominated for Best Drama Series, according to a press announcement posted on the Critics' Choice Awards official website.
Cast members Clarke and Lena Headey, who plays Cersei, both received nominations for Best Supporting Actress in a drama category. Meanwhile, Dinklage and Kit Harington were nominated for the award Best Supporting Actor in a drama series.
