Lee Min Ho and Bae Suzy is two of South Korea's brightest stars, wherein the couple's rumored wedding is one of the highly talked-about topics in fan communities. Rumors have been going around that Lee Min Ho and Bae Suzy wedding preparations are now underway. However, there are several legitimate reasons that might delay their tying the knot.
Lee Min Ho's military enlistment details
Lee Min Ho will soon begin his mandatory military service. According to his agency MYM Entertainment, "The Legend of the Blue Sea" star will serve as a public service officer and might enlist early next year.
The actor decided to enlist as a public service officer because of his history of injuries, preventing him from serving as an active duty soldier, Soompi reported. Lee Min Ho was involved in a serious car accident in 2006, leaving him with a leg injury that required surgery. He also got into a car accident while filming "City Hunter" in 2011.
Lee Min Ho currently stars in the hit SBS drama series "The Legend of the Blue Sea" together with Jun Ji Hyun. The drama series is likely to be Lee's last project before enlisting.
Bae Suzy's solo debut
While Lee Min Ho is busy working on "The Legend of the Blue Sea," Suzy is also working hard on her solo debut. The Miss A member released a short teaser trailer of her solo debut at the recently held 2016 Mnet Asian Music Awards.
According to Soompi, JYP Entertainment has confirmed that Suzy has done a photo shoot for her album jacket as well as filmed a music video and recorded songs for her album. The Bae Suzy solo album is said to include one song that was composed by the singer herself.
Bae Suzy's solo debut is likely to take place in January 2017.
Lee Min Ho and Bae Suzy's relationship on the rocks?
There have been rumblings that the power couple are going through a rough patch in their relationship and are on the verge of breaking up. Several reports have also been linking Lee Min Ho to Song Hye Kyo, fueling the fire on the break up rumors.
However, JYP Entertainment has clarified that Lee Min Ho and Bae Suzy are still together and going strong.
