From wanting ownership in the UFC to fighting Floyd Mayweather in a boxing match to rumors of him being part of the WWE, Conor McGregor sure is definitely considering as much career choices as he can including being part of the HBO hit series 'Game of Thrones.'
A source close to McGregor told the Sunday Life that the highest paid fighter in UFC history will appear in one of the two remaining episodes of 'Game of Thrones.' The source told that McGregor was "headhunted" by the show's director who was a big UFC fan and believed the Irish fighter would be a perfect fit for the show.
It is not the first time someone told McGregor is fit for an endeavor aside from kicking ass in UFC as WWE Vice President of Talent Paul Michael Levesque, commonly known as Triple H, told The Telegraph that McGregor "got the personality, the skills, the talk" to fit in the WWE.
Last year, it can be remembered that McGregor and 'Game of Thrones' star The Mountain or the six-foot-nine Icelandic strongman Hafpor Julius Bjornsson were sparring in a video that went viral. The only fighter to have won two division titles in the UFC also expressed that he is fond of medieval fantasy which is the theme of 'Game of Thrones.'
McGregor is assumed to be away from the UFC for a while as he expects his first baby next year with long-time girlfriend Dee Devlin. After winning the UFC lightweight title last November in his win over Eddie Alvarez in UFC 205 by way of technical knockout, McGregor told the press in the post-fight presser that he wants to own stake in the UFC for him to have a stable and sure life for his family.
Days after, McGregor then called out "Money" Mayweather for a $100 million boxing match.
McGregor's possible character in the 'Game of Thrones' is still unknown but his appearance would surely draw UFC fans' interest for the hit show.
