Game publisher Electronic Arts is now offering the ninth stuff pack for their life simulation video game, "The Sims 4." Called Vintage Glamour, the latest add-on contains a wardrobe collection and various decorations that were in vogue during Hollywood's golden age.
Classic clothes, furniture and decorations will be added to the player's collection upon purchase of EA's latest offering. The Sims characters can look like glamorous '60s stars. Some of the new items enumerated by the game's official website include a vanity table for the characters to retouch their makeup, a 16th Century Monte Vista Globe Bar, a giraffe lamp, and several more. Also, the appropriate wallpapers can be used to go with the look.
Moreover, gamers can enjoy the services that only a butler can offer. One becomes available for hire once the stuff pack is added to the main game.
NPC butlers tend to the needs of the Sims. They can prepare food anytime, clean up the place when asked to and can even repair the computer. They can likewise do the gardening when instructed, and the gamer can also scold them for being too comfortable while on duty. However, the studio advises players not to embarrass them too much in front of guests or they may get back by messing things up a bit.
An official trailer for the latest "The Sims 4" Vintage Glamour Stuff was also launched so players can have a first look into the things that they can enjoy once they have the add-on installed. The trailer points out that a simple ring of the servant's bell will call the attention of the butler. Other decorative pieces shown are a chandelier, a fireplace, a new couch, and a full-sized bed. By the way, the vanity table will only work for the grown ups. Kids who use it will end up having a face similar to a clown.
"The Sims 4" Vintage Glamour Stuff pack is scheduled for release on Dec. 6. It is priced at $9.99 for the Windows PC platform.
