The Kardashian trademark issue has grown out-of-proportion, and now Blac Chyna's fiancée Rob Kardashian has reportedly threatened to hide his daughter Dream from his family. He also warned his mother Kris Jenner to stop meddling into the issue, or else he will quit the "Keeping up with the Kardashian" show.
New, reports have emerged that the Kardashian sisters Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe were not the real ones who want to stop Chyna's Kardashian trademark filing. Rob was furious with Jenner after her sisters reportedly told him that it was their mom's idea to file an opposition to Chyna. Rob is now threatening to keep Dream away from his family, and that he will quit the reality show.
Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe do not care if Chyna wants to use Kardashian as her family name because she will be married to their brother in the first place. They know that she makes Rob happy. However, Kris was the one who wants to protect their family name for a different agenda.
It was just recently when the reports came out that the Kardashian sisters Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe tried to block Chyna's Kardashian trademark request to protect their reputation and goodwill. Chyna's real name is Angela Renee White, and she wants to use Angela Renee Kardashian in the entertainment and in her social media accounts.
"They are hoping to resolve it amicably," an insider told US Weekly. "The girls, because they do love Chyna. The girls are just protecting their interests because that is their brand. It's a complicated business issue."
The Kardashian sisters tried to patch things up with Chyna and explained that their attorneys are just following the protocols to block everyone who is trying to use Kardashian as a trademark. They assured that it was not meant only for Chyna as it applies to all, TMZ reported.
There are also reports saying that Jenner personally approached Chyna and assured her that there are no issues as everything was just a misinterpretation. She also promised that there would be no legal battles between the Kardashians and Chyna.
However, despite the amendments, Chyna's Kardashian trademark is not yet granted. Chyna's lawyer Walter Mosley admitted that lawyers for the Kardashian have not cancelled the filing they made in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. As far as he knows, the Kardashian case is still active.
