The talk of the town right now is that Yalu iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak released by Lucas Todesco in collaboration with Ian Beer. However, there is a fair chance that another iOS jailbreak could be in the mix and it would be for the current iOS 10.2.
The Yalu iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak finally addresses the long wait of the Apple Jailbreaking Community though the crack was far from perfect. It is a semi-tethered crack and said to be unstable according to Lucas Todesco.
Further, the iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak was only found compatible to select Apple devices. This included the iPhone 7/ 7 Plus, iPhone 6s/ 6s Plus and the iPad Pro, Cult of Mac reported. Worth noting as well is that since it is a semi-tethered jailbreak, Apple device owners would have to re-jailbreak it when the device is restarted.
To ease the instability, Todesco advised most Apple device owners to make sure they get version 4-1 which support Cydia. Seeing the technical complications, hacker Stefan Esser tries to calm down the storm by tweeting that an iOS 10.2 jailbreak is coming soon.
Esser claimed via his Twitter account that another team will be releasing an iOS 10.2 jailbreak soon. But similar to what Todesco underwent, none of this may be relevant until an actual tool is available for the public to try out.
In the end the iOS 10.1.1 signing window closing is not such a big deal, considering that the iOS 10.2 jailbreak is about to hit soon.

There is a chance that Esser was simply trolling folks seeing that Todesco is getting plenty of attention with the iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak, Forbes reported. Given the benefit of the doubt, many are hoping that his claim of an iOS 10.2 jailbreak is real.
If so, it would mark the first time that back-to-back iOS jailbreaks would come out in the open. Everyone knows the time element involved when it comes to releasing iOS cracks, iOS 10 of which is a good example.
For now, folks who want to try out they Yalu iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak can do so along with instability and risks. It will have to do until another crack comes out – hopefully one that is stable and similar to the previous working jailbreak tools from Pangu.
