"19 Kids and Counting" stars experienced some major highlights in 2016, so big things may also be expected for the Duggars this year.
Before the year ended, Jessa Duggar-Seewald and husband Ben announced that they are expecting their second child together. A few weeks later, Jill Duggar-Dillard and Derick also announced that they are expecting their second child this summer.
Fans of the Duggars are now speculating on the possibility of Jinger Duggar-Vuolo and Jeremy getting pregnant this year. The couple tied the knot in November. Following their union, Jinger and Jeremy said that they are not in a rush to have a baby, but if it is God's will for them to have one soon then they would be happy.
While speaking with US Weekly in August 2016, Jinger said that she was excited for the future with her soon-to-be husband at that time. In the same interview, Derick said that he feels Jinger and Jeremy would be the next to have a child.
Meanwhile, some members of the Duggar family are still single, but there are also some speculations suggesting that Jana will be the next one to get engaged. Jim Bob and Michelle's eldest daughter has been waiting for years to enter into a relationship. Just like her, John-David, Josiah and Joseph may also find their perfect matches this year.
In other news, even if Jana will not be engaged this year, the Duggars will be attending at least one family wedding in 2017. Joy-Anna and her boyfriend Austin got engaged in November. Even though a wedding date has not yet been set, Austin's family has already included Joy-Anna on their family's business website.
Elsewhere, Amy Duggar-King may be experiencing major troubles in her marriage to Dillon. In the latest episode of "Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars" Season 7, Duggar-King admitted that her husband picked her up by the throat during one of their recent fights. However, the controversial Duggar family member later on clarified that she was not talking about Dillon.
"19 Kids and Counting" was cancelled by TLC on May 19, 2015 due to Josh's sexual molestation scandal.
