"19 Kids and Counting" alum Josh Duggar is rumored to return to television in the next couple of weeks.
However, the reports claiming that he will have his own show on TLC are definitely untrue. Instead, Duggar will make regular appearances in the upcoming episodes of "Jill & Jessa: Counting On." The spinoff primarily focuses on the lives of Jill Duggar-Dillard and husband Derick, as well as Jessa Duggar-Seewald and husband Ben.
TLC decided to release a spinoff after Duggar admitted to sexually molesting five underage girls as a teenager. During that time, the network cancelled the reality TV show because it featured Duggar. Now that the reality TV star is out of rehab, it seems that TLC wants to slowly include him in the upcoming episodes of the spinoff.
However, fans are not necessarily excited to hear about the news because some still haven't moved on from Duggar's sexual molestation scandal and rumored infidelity towards his wife Anna, according to Morning Ledger. The irony is, Anna seemed to have already forgiven her husband for his wrongful doings. In a previous interview, she admitted that she and Josh are attending counseling together to fix their marriage.
Meanwhile, there are also rumors that Duggar's parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, are feuding over how they should treat their son. However, it seems that there's no truth to the reports because Jim Bob and Michelle are still going strong as ever. In fact, the couple recently went on a retreat so they could spend some quality time together.
On the family's official Facebook page, Jim Bob shared a photo of himself with his wife with a brief explanation of what they did at the retreat house. "Michelle and I had a special time speaking at the Fort Rock Marriage Retreat on the Pig Trail in St. Paul, Arkansas. I love spending time with my best friend!" he captioned the photo.
"Jill & Jessa: Counting On" is currently on its second season.
