Speculations are rife that the iOS 10.2 jailbreak release may be canceled because Apple is planning to launch iOS 10.3 Beta 1. The new iOS 10.3 Beta 1 "Erie" is going to release on Jan. 10.
With the imminent launch of iOS 10.3 Beta 1 "Erie" in the coming days, Apple may have inadvertently made the iOS 10.2 jailbreak tool redundant. Previously, the iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak tool was released by Luca Todesco and it had also enjoyed success. Apple has strengthened its approach against hackers and is releasing subsequent versions of their iOS soon so that the hackers do not get ample time to hack and exploit the security loopholes and then release the jailbreaking tools.
Hacker Todesco was commended when he showcased the iOS 10.1.1 jailbreak tool and it was expected that he would come out with the iOS 10.2 jailbreaking version soon. Users were waiting for iOS 10.2 to become stable for the hackers to exploit the security bugs and come out with the jailbreaking tool.
On the other hand, hacker Pangu was also expected to release their version of the iOS 10.1.1 jailbreaking tool soon. However, there has been no official word from Pangu and Todesco regarding their plans to release the much-anticipated iOS 10.2 jailbreaking tool. It seems unlikely that the hackers will release any new jailbreaking tool for iOS 10.2 when its successor is about to launch in the coming days.
Meanwhile, the iOS 10.3 Beta 1 "Erie" will include a new Theatre mode, which will come with a popcorn shaped icon in the Control center. The theatre mode is linked with the Dark Mode so it may allow people to stream videos more seamlessly with a darkened screen akin to a natural theatre, according to iDigital Times.
The Cupertino-based company is taking its fight against hacking very seriously. In this endeavor, they are doing their utmost to render the efforts of the hackers useless by releasing the versions of their operating systems in a very streamlined and fast manner, according to Forbes. They have also patched up the access of the hack tool Prometheus. So now, the Apple users will no longer be able to upgrade or downgrade their versions of the operating systems upon their will.
