A lot of people are expected to look for new devices to get, including laptops and tablets. Microsoft has done well with its Microsoft Surface line and now most are urged to wait for the release of the Surface Pro 5 believed to be debuting by the first quarter of 2017.
The ‘laplet’ from Microsoft should be a sensible buy seeing the misfortunes that Apple has been dealing with. The MacBook Pro 2016 has been hit left and right, led no less by the celebrated battery-drain issue. Aside from that, there is the decision of the Cupertino company to remain with an Intel Skylake SoC plus limiting RAM to just 16GB.
Hence, consumers could do well to hold off at least for a couple of months with word that the Redmond company will be releasing the Surface Pro 5 by the first quarter of 2017, Digitimes reported. The device gives users a flexible solution seeing it can function as a tablet and transform into a laptop through the aid of a snap-on keyboard.
Other than that, the expected features for the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 remain scarce. It will allegedly come with an Ultra-HD display, a stylus equipped with magnetic charging and bank on Pegatron technology, BGR reported.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is likely to integrate the recently unveiled Kaby Lake chipset. Previous reports dished that this was one reason why the company delayed the ‘laplet’s’ release. Intel recently unveiled the 40 different chipsets at the CES 2017 in Las Vegas.
The delivery schedule will play a vital role as well, meaning Microsoft is one of many in waiting. Seeing how the previous models released in 2016 have been doing well, the Surface Pro 5 should be another successful device debuting for the Microsoft Surface series.
Worth noting as well is that most prefer to get a device armed with the right specs to carry out their computing needs. The Surface Pro series have so far satisfied that need and one can just imagine how it would perform with Intel Kaby Lake chips inside.
