"The Vampire Diaries" alum Nina Dobrev recently went on a vacation with her friends, and was seen feeding an adorable monkey.
On her Instagram account, the actress shared a video of herself feeding the creature that tried to cozy up to her. Dobrev wrote a hilarious caption where she said that the monkey has already been told that she is off the market, but he still decided to try and charm his way into her heart.
Dobrev went as far as throwing shade to those men who tried to hook up with her without even trying to get to know her first or buy her dinner at least.
Based on the caption alone, Dobrev somewhat confirmed that she is already dating someone new. However, the actress has been staying mum when it comes to her relationship these days.
But what is for certain is that Dobrev just shut down rumors that she is still not over her ex-boyfriend, Ian Somerhalder. In fact, after their split, Somerhalder moved on to dating and then marrying Nikki Reed. Dobrev dated and got into a relationship with a few guys, but their relationship did not last.
This has once again led fans to speculate that Dobrev is having a hard time finding a man that compares to Somerhalder.
Meanwhile, Dobrev is rumored to return to "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 finale episode. Even though the actress has not yet filmed for the episode, executive producer Julie Plec expressed her confidence that Dobrev will definitely be on board with her plans.
While speaking with TV Line in October 2016, Dobrev said that the only reason why Dobrev will not be able to return is her schedule. Otherwise, the actress herself is excited to reprise her role as Elena Gilbert.
However, Somerhalder thinks otherwise. While speaking with Variety last month, the actor admitted that he does not have any idea what Plec has planned for the finale. When asked if Dobrev will return, Somerhalder said that he is very pro human so he thinks that after killing a lot of people, his character, Damon, does not deserve to have a happy ending with Elena.
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 will return with episode 8 on Jan. 13 at 8 p.m. EST.
