Eiichiro Oda will no doubt have huge things in store for the 20th anniversary of his highly-successful Shonen Manga 'One Piece.' With the Whole Cake Island arc entering the homestretch mark, the story will be shifting to the Wano land of the Samurai arc and the Reverie Council of the Kings very soon.

In a 2016 interview with newspaper Dai One Piece Shinbun, Oda confirmed that One Piece has already covered 65 to 70 percent of the story, which means the series is now nearing its much-anticipated conclusion.

The School of Jump netcast via CrunchyRoll also confirmed the Whole Cake Island arc has 20 to 25 chapters left before the Strawhat Pirates move to the next storyline, which will possibly focus on their battle with Kaido and the Beast Pirates in the land of the Samurais in Wano Country.

"The School of Jump netcast kicked off the reveals with news that the currently running Whole Cake Island arc is half-way done (probably 20-25 chapters left by fan math). Oda picked this up, revealing that 2017 will carry the run into the Reverie council of kings and Wano land of the samurai arcs."

The question now is what lies ahead for One Piece fans for this year. Will new members join the Straw Hat pirates? Will there be a death of an important OP character coming? Without further ado, here are my bold predictions for the remainder of the Whole Cake Island arc.

Last 20 to 25 Chapters of Totto Land Arc:

-Thanks to Jinbe, Luffy and Nami manage to escape and reunites with Chopper and Carrot. They then proceed to retrieving a distraught Sanji.

-Despite already knowing the true intentions of Charlotte Pudding, Sanji acts as if he didn't hear anything from his fiancée. Sanji comes up with a plan with the help of Luffy and the Straw Hat crew in order to save the Vinsmoke Family from being massacred.

-Brook continues to fight Big Mom, despite the Yonkou's overwhelming power. The Straw Hat finally learns the location of the copy of the Road Poneglyph and rushes straight to it, but Big Mom pops out of nowhere and hit him hard.

-Luffy and his gang crashes Sanji's wedding and saves the Vinsmoke Family. Sanji then takes on Pudding and defeats her.

-Luffy and Jinbe help badly-beaten Brook in fight vs. Big Mom. Jinbe fights Big Mom, but easily loses to her. Luffy goes next, and again his Devil Fruit ability is no match against the Yonko's Soru Soru no Mi.

-After witnessing his captain's defeat, Brook gains a new-found strength and awakens a new ability of Yomi Yomi no Mi, allowing him to match Big Mom's power. Brook defeats Big Mon and gain the copy of the Road Poneglyph.

-Luffy asks Jinbe to become the 10th member of the Straw Hat pirates, which he gladly accepts. The Strawhat Pirates reunite with Kozuki Family retainers and head to Wano Country, where Kaido and the Beast Pirates await.

Again, these are not spoilers for the upcoming chapters, but predictions to break the boredom of waiting for Chapter 852. Spoilers for the next chapter will be available online this coming Thursday.
