The last time Eminem released his music album was when "The Marshall Mathers LP 2" was released in 2013. Since then, not much has been said apart from a teaser that the "Rap God" artist jokingly revealed on Shade 45's Hanukkah Radio special.
"Love the Way You Lie" rapper had a 13-minute interview with hosts DJ Whoo Kid and manager Paul Rosenberg where the men discussed everything from football to his new music track that will likely make it to his upcoming album. This new track, Eminem said, is reportedly coming out soon.
The rapper was heard talking to his hosts and listeners when he said, "You want the hook to it? I can give you a taste of the hook," and started singing: "Tell me what time, what time, what time/What time are you s****n' it? What time you s****n' it?"
The iconic rapper also said that this track is "super flattering and cool" and that it will be a "pretty big record." The first time he revealed that he is working on a music album was right before he launched his new track "Campaign Speech."
There are rumors that Eminem's new album is titled "Success" and its release date is apparently set on Jan. 25. The album is also likely to feature some big names from the industry, including Adele, Kid Cudi, Chance the Rapper, Vince Staples, and the likes. The album is also rumored to include tracks from Dr. Dre, DJ Michael Keenan, Just Blaze, The Neptunes, among others.
There is also a speculation that the rapper's much-awaited album is reportedly delayed as he is busy supervising the music for upcoming TV show, Motor City, which is based on movie "Narc." It is not known if it moved forward or whether it was floored although it was confirmed that he was working on the project in 2015, according to MTV.
Many fans are desperately waiting to hear Eminem unleash his musical prowess again. While the release date has not been officially confirmed, the singer may just drop an album on his fans at the last minute and still sell million copies in no time.
Meanwhile, Nick Cannon recently talked about Eminem. Mariah Carey's former husband told Hip Hop DX, "We know Marshall Mathers is one of the greatest if not the greatest."
