"Fifty Shades Darker" star Jamie Dornan may have just responded - once again - to the ongoing rumors suggesting that she and her co-star, Dakota Johnson, dated.
Despite the fact that Dornan is happily married to his wife, Amelia Warner, there are still reports claiming that he had a fling with the "Fifty Shades of Grey" actress. But in recent interview with Cosmopolitan US, Dornan expressed his disappointment over the media that is releasing false reports.
According to the actor, he has been asked a lot of times if he dated certain actresses. When he tells them that he did not, no one really believes him because even Google claims that he was with a certain woman.
The actress also used Kate Moss as an example since he has been linked to the supermodel for quite some time now. Finally, Dornan clarified that he never dated Moss or any other actress linked to him on the popular search engine.
"About 80 percent of the people I am said to have dated, I have not," he said.
But before Dornan dated and settled down with Warner, the actress was in an actual relationship with "Love Actually" star Keira Knightley. In 2005, the actress went through an emotional period in her life when she broke up with Dornan.
According to the Mirror UK, Knightley, who was just 20 years old at that time, cried nonstop over the breakup. An insider told the publication that Knightley thought her relationship with Dornan would last for a really long time, but it did not.
"Keira's gutted. She really thought what she and Dornan had was love but it just was not meant to be. They both wanted it to work but in the end it was just untenable. They were having crisis talks on an almost daily basis but the decision was reached to finally call it a day," the insider said.
Meanwhile, it is expected that Dornan will once again be linked to Johnson since the two are set to reprise their roles in "Fifty Shades Darker" on Feb. 10. In the film, Dornan plays the role of Christian Grey, while Johnson plays the role of Anastasia Steele.
