The upcoming video game sequel "Guilty Gear Xrd: Rev 2" was revealed for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PC, and the arcade. Players who own the first version will be able to get a good deal for the sequel.

The upcoming sequel to "Guilty Gear Xrd" for several platforms has been announced via the official website of Arc System Works. It will be launched first in the arcades in Japan in spring 2017. The official trailer, which can be viewed below, revealed both Baiken and Answer as the new additional playable characters in the game.

The game developers are planning to hold a location test for the upcoming video game from Jan. 20 to 22. The tests will be held in Tokyo at Sega Akihabara Building No. 1 and in Osaka at High Tech Land Sega Nishinakajima with details to be discussed later on.

The arcade version of the video game will have Baiken and Answer as playable characters for players to test out. There will be some balance adjustments for the existing characters and it will include new techniques.

The arcade version will have new episodes for several characters like Jam Kuradoberi, Raven, Kum Haehyun, and Dizzy with the new characters as well. A Tutorial mode will be implemented, which is free-to-play.

For the PS4, PS3, and the PC versions, these will include the arcade content, and it will also include additional ones. Players will be able to view a new scenario in the story mode, the online mode will have major improvements, and other items to be announced in the future.

On the official website of "Guilty Gear Xrd: Rev 2," the game company revealed that users who own the original "Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator" on the PS4, PS3, and the PC will get a good deal from them. They will be able to update to the sequel through a low-priced downloadable content. The game company also revealed that in Japan, they will be preparing a PS4 physical and digital release for the game for less than the cost of a full-priced game.

In other related news, the game company revealed that "Guilty Gear Isuka" and "Guilty Gear X2 #Reload" were made available on Steam again. These games are priced at $9.99 each with their own Steam page.
