EXO's Baekhyun is known to play pranks on people and his fellow group members have fallen victim to his antics on more than one occasion. However, the prankster recently set his sights on SHINee's Minho at the 31st Golden Disc Awards.
During the awards ceremony, Baekhyun and Minho sat next to each other in the audience and during BTS' performance, Baekhyun appeared to be enjoying The Bangtan Boys' performance of "Fire," as he passionately sang along with the group. However, during the song's interlude, Baekhyun looked at Minho and leaned in, as if he had something to say to the SHINee member.
Minho noticed that Baekhyun had leaned in closer and bended slightly forward to listen, expecting the idol to say something. However, he was taken by surprise when Baekhyun yelled out the lyrics, "all night long" from "Fire" instead before pumping his fist in the air. Minho chuckled as he realized that he had just fallen for Baekhyun's prank and the EXO member beamed with pride as he pulled one over Minho.
The prank on Minho was not the only amusing thing Baekhyun did at the awards show. The idol was playing with a toy duck at the event, Koreaboo reported. He also carried it with him on stage as the group delivered their winning acceptance speech.
SHINee and EXO were among the winners at the Golden Disc Awards. While SHINee won the Album Bonsang honor at the awards show, EXO took home the Ceci Asia Icon Award, Disc Bonsang Award and the Digital Bonsang for Baekhyun and Suzy's, "Dream."
EXO won the Daesang Award. The group won the grand prize for the fourth consecutive time since 2014, according to Soompi.
