Girls' Generation's YoonA has been busy with her acting career as of late. The K-pop star, who debuted in her film "Confidential Assignment" shown in theaters on Jan. 18, is also the "Dazed" magazine's cover girl for its February issue.
An article by allkpop revealed photos of YoonA in her latest project with "Dazed" magazine. According to the K-pop news website, the actress and singer showed her "jaw-dropping" beauty and fashionista self in the magazine images.
The allkpop article added that YoonA sent off a moody vibe in her black and white cover photo and looked good as well in "tones of blue and brown in other cuts".
In addition to being a stunning model, she is busy with her acting career as of late. YoonA recently starred in her first ever movie "Confidential Assignment".
Last Jan. 10, the South Korean news website Yonhap News Agency reported about her fan meeting at CGV-Wangsimini theatre in Seoul where she expressed her "delight" in her character in her first movie with top-billed South Korean actors Hyun Bin and Yoo Hae-jin.
"I was attracted to the role because the character resembles me a lot. I tried to be myself while acting -- bright and cheerful," YoonA said about her role in "Confidential Assignment", shown in theatres since Jan. 18.
Her acting prowess in the film also earned praises from her co-star Hyun Bin. In an article by Soompi, Hyun Bin admired YoonA's hard work and dedication as an actress. Moreover, he complimented her transformation as an actress in TV dramas and now in a movie.
"She has played the main character in dramas and I think it was a good choice to pick this film to be her first. I loved seeing her work so hard and I'm looking forward to her future activities," Soompi cited Hyun Bin during an interview.
The film is about a North Korean special agent (Hyun Bin) who works with his South Korean counterpart (Yoo Hae-jin) to hunt down an illegal North Korean organization hiding in the South, according to Yonhap News Agency. YoonA plays Yoo Hae-jin's sister-in-law and the love interest of Hyun Bin in the movie which is directed by Kim Sung-hoon.
