"Empire" Season 3 just cast Eva Longoria for a multi-episode arc.
According to TV Line, the "Desperate Housewives" alum will be playing the role of a villainous woman who will put Cookie's (Taraji P. Henson) and Lucious' (Terrence Howard) in hell.
Longoria will give life to the character Charlotte Frost, the director of an all-powerful state gaming commission who has the power to make or break Lucious' dream of expanding Empire's reach to Las Vegas.
At first glance, Charlotte looks rich, classy and alluring, but there is also a dark side to her. She is a corrupt individual who is afraid to get poor so she wants to make sure that her investments will generate huge profit.
Unfortunately, fans of Longoria and "Empire" Season 3 still have to wait until March to see new episodes of the hit FOX TV series. On March 22, episode 10, titled "Sound and Fury" will be released.
The promo released by FOX for episode 10 confirmed more shocking revelations and twists in the lives of the power couple, Cookie and Lucious, as well as their three children, Andre (Trai Byers), Jamal (Jussie Smollett) and Hakeem (Bryshere Gray).
Meanwhile, even though "Empire" Season 3 has not yet returned to FOX, the network has already made the decision to renew the series for a fourth season. The hit music soap will have a total of 18 episodes.
Despite changes in its ratings throughout the past three years, FOX confirmed that "Empire" still remains to be one of the network's most popular drama in the 18 to 49 demo.
In other news, Longoria was last seen on television in NBC's short-lived TV show, "Telenovela." The actress played the role of a television star whose ex-husband is trying to get her attention.
