Kim Yoo Jung returned to the limelight after a health scare that led to a quick hospital stay and a short hiatus. The "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" actress marked her comeback with a meet and greet event with Taiwanese fans.
The young South Korean star recently made her first public appearance after her December 2016 hospitalization and a nearly one month break. Kim met several of her fans at a special event at Taipei's ATT Show Box venue.
Held on Feb. 4, Saturday, the fan meeting was attended by around 600 fans, according to an announcement released by Kim's agency Sidus HQ, as obtained by Yonhap News. Several scenes from "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds," also known as "Love in the Moonlight," were also shown during the said event.
Kim and her Taiwanese fans even sang some of the said KBS historical drama's theme songs. At the end of the fan meeting, the young actress thanked her loyal followers for their support.
Meanwhile, the "Angry Mom" star ended 2016 with a health scare that sent her to the hospital twice in a month. After suffering from a severe cold that warranted an emergency room visit on Dec. 21, 2016, Kim was again admitted to the hospital a day after Christmas following a stress-induced shock.
At the same time as the actress' health issues, many fans also criticized the South Korean star for allegedly acting rudely during a press event held in December 2016. Critics bashed Kim for leaning on her leg instead of standing straight, as well as looking at her nails while her movie co-stars addressed the event attendees.
In other news, Kim is also set to meet her local fans in an autograph signing event to be held at the Samsung COEX Mall in Seoul, All Kpop reported. Scheduled on Feb. 7, the said activity is a simple meet and greet event for a brand that the actress currently represents.
Kim's drama "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" aired from August 2016 to mid-October 2016 on KBS. Watch a clip from the said drama below:
