Samsung's Galaxy C5 Pro, being one of the three smartphones that were initially released in China markets exclusively, may be suggesting a global release based on the device's new certification.
The Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro, Galaxy C9 Pro, Galaxy C7 Pro were initially announced as an exclusive offer in China; however, lately, new information on the mid-range Galaxy C5 Pro reveals that the South Korean company is preparing for its global release after the latest citing at Wi-Fi Alliance.
According to the said listing, the Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro bears the model number SM-C501X which could indicate the international version for the smartphone, Softpedia News reported. To recall, the Galaxy C5 Pro carrying the model number SM-C5010 was spotted on the same regulatory commission last December. Together with the Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro and Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro, the Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro is launched as a China-only variant.
In the past, the Galaxy C5 Pro has already received its certifications from TENAA and FCC (Federal Communications Commission), which revealed the device's key specs and hardware.
The said device sports a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED full-HD display while it packs a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, coupled with 4GB of RAM. Its internal memory houses a 64GB of storage onboard.
On the camera front, the Galaxy C5 Pro features a 16-megapixel rear camera and a similar sensor for its front-snapper, which will be perfect for selfies and video chats.
The smartphone houses a 3000mAh battery that will keep its running. It also runs an Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system, which is also the same OS included on the Galaxy C7 Pro and C9 Pro devices.
According to NDTV, the Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro is yet to be announced, while its brother Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro and Galaxy C7 Pro are already released in markets other than in China. The Galaxy C9 Pro was already spotted in Indian markets, which is pegged at a price of Rs. 36,900. The said device is available in two color variants, namely Black and Gold, across all retail channels.
On its initial release, the Galaxy C5 Pro will be initially introduced in China before its international variant will be made available in other countries.
