A secret will soon affect the lives of beloved characters in the CW superhero series "The Flash" Season 3. Latest spoilers teased of Caitlin's (Danielle Panabaker) Killer Frost challenges, as well as the revelation of an information that could change the relationship of Team Flash members with each other, according to Carlos Valdes.
Several "The Flash" Season 3 episodes showed Caitlin's ongoing inner battle with her evil alter ego, the metahuman Killer Frost. With Cisco's (Valdes) help and his power inhibiting gadget, she was able to gain some measure of control over her villainous side even if she uses her freezing powers.
However, Caitlin has not been that forthcoming in sharing her inner struggles with Team Flash. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Valdes commented that the said character's secrets will soon be revealed and it result to a big change.
The actor stated, "Caitlin has some secrets of her own that are going to come to light and are going to change not just the dynamic of the team, but also her own feelings about her dynamic within the team. It all comes to a head."
At this point, it is still unclear if Caitlin's Killer Frost persona will again break through and take control of the said character. An episode in the early part of "The Flash" Season 3 featured Caitlin's fall from grace when she transformed into Killer Frost and Team Flash's efforts to revert her back to her non-villainous self.
It appears that Caitlin's struggles with her powers and evil alter-ego will be a part of the said character's story arc. Showrunner Aaron Helbing shared in an earlier interview with TVLine that the threat of Caitlin turning into Killer Frost will be one of the big challenges that the said character will face in "The Flash" Season 3.
Helbing also teased that they have huge plans for Panabaker's character in the CW series' current season. He even described Caitlin's storyline development as "really exciting and really satisfying."
