The latest details and spoilers for "The Flash" season 3 will feature Team Flash rescuing Earth 2 Harrison Wells in Gorilla City and a possible appearance of Barry Allen in "Powerless" TV series.
The synopsis for the two-part "Gorilla City" episode has beenn revealed as Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) and Team Flash will travel to Earth 2 to combat an army of Gorillas to save Earth 2 Central City. In "Attack on Gorilla City" Jesse Quick (Violett Beane) seeks the help of Barry Allen to rescue her father Harrison "Harry" Wells (Tom Cavanagh) as he is captured in Gorilla City.
Barry along with Cisco Ramon/Vibe (Carlos Valdes), Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) and Julian Albert (Tom Felton) go to Earth 2, but were captured in Gorilla City and there they Barry and the team encounter their old nemesis Gorilla Grodd, who claims that the city's leader Solovar wants to invade Earth 1.
The episode will also feature Jesse Quick teaming-up with Wally West/Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale) who are left in Earth 1 to stop a metahuman who can control gravity with Harrison "H.R." Wells and Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) guiding them, IDigital Times reported.
The two-part "Gorilla City" episode will also feature an appearance from Gypsy (Jessica Camacho), Savitar and the mysterious speedster who looks like the Accelerated Man, Earth 19 version of The Flash.
In other news, it seems that The Flash will likely have another TV series crossover in the DC's comedy series "Powerless".
"Powerless" tells the story of Emily Locke (Vanessa Hudgens), a normal human woman who goes to work for a relative of Bruce Wayne, at a company that tries to find ways to keep regular humans safe from the powerful heroes and villains of their world. Not just from being kidnapped and murdered, but also from getting crushed by falling cars or run over during a getaway. The sitcom also stars Alan Tudyk ("Firefly"), and Danny Pudi ("Community").
Showrunner Patrick Schumaker told ComicBookResources his ideas of having major DC characters like Aquaman, Batman and Superman in "Powerless" and The Flash is no exceptions stating that the DC multiverse will be the key in making it happened. Schumaker added that if The Flash will appear in the sitcom he would like Grant Gustin's version of the speedster.
The next episode of "The Flash" season 3 will have Barry train Wally on how to get faster as Kid Flash will be the one to save Iris West (Candice Peyton) in the clutches of Savitar from her impending death in the future.
"The Flash" returns on Tuesday at 8pm on The CW Network.
