WWE SmackDown Feb. 14, 2017 Preview
Bray Wyatt is WWE Champion!
As recapped by WWE.com, Bray Wyatt is the new WWE champion after outlasting five superstars in the Elimination Chamber match. He was able to eliminate both John Cena and A.J. Styles to win the WWE title and he did it without any help.
How will the new WWE champion celebrate his title win? Will Randy Orton, who is the No. 1 contender for the championship, join him or put him on notice with an RKO?
What's next for John Cena?
Cena's 16th WWE championship reign only lasted two weeks and he should get a rematch with Wyatt for the title. However, the WWE already set up his WrestleMania 33 match at Elimination Chamber, per Cageside Seats.
The Miz will likely interfere in the possible rematch as retaliation for getting eliminated last Sunday and for Nikki Bella embarrassing Maryse backstage. This means Cena won't be winning his rematch against Wyatt.
How about A.J. Styles?
Styles has been lost in the mix with Wyatt winning the WWE title. He is still owed a one-on-one rematch with Cena but he's no longer the champion. All signs point to Styles complaining to SmackDown Live general manager Shane McMahon about his unfair treatment.
There have been rumors stating that Styles vs. Shane is planned for WrestleMania 33. Will Styles get his rematch for the WWE championship or will Shane begin to feel the anger of "The Phenomenal One"?
Naomi is the new SmackDown Women's Champion!
To the surprise of many, Naomi won the SmackDown Women's title over Alexa Bliss last Sunday. Alexa would surely want to get her rematch with Becky Lynch and Mickie James likely getting involved in the feud.
Will Dean Ambrose retaliate?
Ambrose had a chance of winning the WWE championship at Elimination Chamber but Baron Corbin attacked him after he got was already eliminated. The WWE is setting up a collision course between the two superstars at WrestleMania 33 for the Intercontinental championship. Will Ambrose retaliate against Corbin this week on SmackDown Live?
