"Legion" Season 1, episode 2 spoilers roundup
According to the synopsis, David will be helped by his new friends to revisit his past. He is looking for answers as he tries to make sense of his condition. David is exploring if he is a patient of a mental illness or he has special abilities.
David Haller spoke with IGN about his character's evolution in the series. He is about how his character will grow as the show progresses.
"There's certainly an awareness that develops. The big question is whether he has any agency or control over them with that knowledge. That's the kind of big early question I guess, is like if he's aware and if he is powerful enough to control this. That gets quite playful in terms of who is in the driving seat of David at any given time," Stevens said.
The actor is also asked about the yellow-eyed devil in the first two episodes of "Legion" Season 1.
Stevens revealed that the yellow-eyed devil plays a big part in the entire storyline. He added that it is one of our delusions of the devil. He stated that most of the characters apart from David are the amalgamation of traits fans might recognize from the "X-Men" universe. For instance, Rachel Keller's character is quite like Rogue.
"We sort of borrowed from that universe and borrowed certain characteristics so it's written with the same kind of vocabulary but it's not sort of tying itself to any of the specific issue one volume three issue four kind of type stuff," he added.
