China’s Entertainment Direct Asia (EDA) recently announced its new video content management deals with several local and global partners based in Japan, U.S. and Europe.
EDA is the country's prime independent online video management firm. Apart from licensing services, it provides one-stop distribution of Web-based platforms' video content via the company's partner online video websites.
The video management company also offers streamlined solution for royalty reporting, payment, monetization, distribution and content management in the People's Republic.
Two of the leading content partnerships include the industry's biggest multi-channel networks (MCN), INDMusic and GT Channel.
GT Channel CEO Scott Schlichter remarked: "We've been looking to expand the scope of the GT fanbase and the Chinese market was the natural next step. We're confident that partnering with EDA is the best possible solution for us to tap into the tremendous market of automotive enthusiasts in China."
GT Channel is the world's biggest automotive MCN.
Meanwhile, INDMusic is the leading music distribution MCN on startup platforms. According to its co-founder and CEO Brandon Martinez, "building partnerships has been a key part of our success."
Martinez added that "EDA is the partner most capable of helping us maximize the value of our premium video content in the China market."
"I'm delighted to announce even more world-class new content partnerships for EDA. GT Channel, INDMusic, and our other new content partners represent exactly the kind of premium online video content most in demand in China," EDA CEO Rick Myers enthused.
Rick furthermore said that the company is "pleased and honored that content creators of this caliber have chosen to work with EDA to maximize the value and distribution of their online video content in China."
