"For Honor's" currently known issues for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC were recently revealed. The video game's Season Pass and free post-launch content were also announced.
Ubisoft revealed on their official forums of the currently known issues of their recently launched video game for all platforms. They revealed all of the most critical issues that they are aware of, and they also suggest some workarounds for most of them.
On the PC platform, many players reported that the video game would not launch due to an issue involving the Easy AntiCheat feature. It would sometimes display an error message, which would result of the launch failure afterwards or it will just close after the intro videos. The game developers suggested that they would use the Verify File Integrity option in the Uplay PC client to fix it.
Another PC issue that was revealed was that players were not able to quit to the desktop. It usually happens after getting the error message that says that the connection has been lost while being idle on matchmaking. The workaround was to restart the video game.
Some players reported that their gamepads would not work in "For Honor." Ubisoft revealed a workaround that instructed them to unplug all other non-necessary peripherals like the Steering Wheels and Flight Joysticks.
For connectivity and online issues, the first problem was the NAT Type Group issues. The groups with more than one Strict NAT are not recommended because they will not be able to reach matchmaking. The game developers suggested that they should only invite friends with open or moderate NAT types.
The other issue was the mixed region group connectivity problem. Players might face problems with their connectivity when grouping with other players from other countries or regions. The game developers suggested that they do not make mixed region groups.
The consoles did not have too many issues with the video game except for the connectivity and the online issues. The two platforms had the same issues with the PC.
Ubisoft revealed on their official blog of "For Honor's" Season Pass and free post-launch content. Players will be able to enjoy six new heroes, six elite outfits, an exclusive sunbeam effect on emotes, three scavenger crates that will unlock additional gear, and a 30-day Champion Status. Season Pass owners will get free DLCs that will be released in the coming months, which will include new maps, modes, and gear.
