The recently concluded Monaco Anime Game International Conferences (MAGIC) sure is a special one this year as both "Final Fantasy VII Remake" and "Kingdom Hearts III" were spotted at the event. Game designer Tetsuya Nomura was also at the said conference as he revealed some juicy info with the said titles.

Nomura boasted some in-game screen captures from the two games and even detailed a bit of the games' status quo. Nomura showcased an image from "FFVII Remake" where both Cloud Strife and Barret Wallace are battling a mechanized scorpion from the game's Sector 1 Mako Reactor, according to Kotaku. Another snapshot was shown to the event attendees where Cloud can be seen hiding behind a steel crate during an enemy fire.

In a statement obtained by Gameblog, Nomura stated that the Scorpion Tank will be "FFVII's" first boss. The designer added that the game will have "partly destructible" environments and added that they zeroed in on the game's combat system as he went on saying that "it will go on without interruption." He also highlighted that he was supposed to bring in a gameplay video of the game. However, Square Enix declined the said idea.

A "Kingdom Hearts III" screenshot was also shown to the attendees as the protagonist Sora battles a massive foe. Nomura detailed that the image was taken from the game's Thebes level where Sora can be seen holding the KeyBlade that transformed into a lightning shield that came from the world of Hercules.

Meanwhile, both "FFVII Remake" and "Kingdom Hearts III's" release dates are pretty much far fetched as they are still under development. Furthermore, the former will be released in an episodic manner as Square Enix even hinted early on that they could dish out related titles in between "FFVII Remake's" development.
