Apple is expected to release a new batch of iPad Pro tablets, something that could happen this March. With most eager to see what improvements the iPad Pro 2 will carry, some ads spice things a bit with some facts that most may not agree.

The new iPad Pro ads bring to mind the previous “Mac vs. PC” ads. These tackled the differences between a Mac and a PC and it looks like the iPad Pro is the new focus.

Apple has stood pat in claiming that the iPad Pro is better than a PC. Some have taken exception with most singling out the shortcoming in functionalities. There is also the matter of malware and viruses which normally plague PCs or Android tablets. The iPad Pro and Macs are not completely immune so that is one area for debate.

There are other things singled out for the iPad Pro such as connectivity. Thanks to 4G technology, iPad Pro owners can work from anywhere even without WiFi, Slash Gear reported. Of all these claims, the pitch that the iPad Pro is better than a PC is debatable.

It is no longer an age where Apple has to deal with PCs. The rise of Android-backed mobile devices poses a new threat to the Cupertino company’s tablet-line. Hence, it may no longer be about worrying about the PC niche but Android-powered tablets or even mobile phones.

On the serious side, the iPad Pro 2 is one of the several new devices expected to come out this March. Three new iPads are expected with the 10.5-inch variant looming as the new flagship design according to Apple Insider. The iPad Pro 2 is also expected to come out with a 9.7- and 12.9-inch variant. The latter is seen as a variant aimed at the commercial and educational users market.

The new iPad Pro 2 tablet will reportedly debut alongside a red iPhone 7 and a 128 GB iPhone SE, all of which are coming at a special media event next month. But of the mix, the obvious star of the show are the multiple variants of the iPad Pro 2.
