After months of denial, Korean actor Joo Jin Mo and Chinese actress Zhang Li confirmed their relationship. It can be recalled that rumors had been milling around the web saying that the two stars are romantically linked. But it is just recently that the reports were confirmed.
Joo Jin Mo and Zhang Li worked together in the "I'm Sorry, My Love" where they first met. Apparently, the pair developed a romantic relationship while on the show. They were also spotted together off-screen in different occasions.
A representative from the actor's management agency Fantagio Entertainment recently confirmed that the stars are indeed dating. This confirmation emerged after Joo Jin Mo denied the rumors that they are in a relationship.
“It is true that [Joo Jin Mo] is in a relationship with Zhang Li. Joo Jin Mo helped Zhang Li when she came to Korea, which is how they became close,” the representative told TV Report, according to Soompi.
Back in July 2016, reports that Joo Jin Mo and Zhang Li are dating emerged on Chinese media outlets. Speculations reveal that the 32-year-old Chinese actress is secretly dating the Korean star, five months after they finished filming "I'm Sorry, My Love."
During that time, Joo Jin Mo's agency denied the reports. Joo Jin Mo also said that he is merely friends with Zhang Li.
"The reports on Joo Jin Mo and Zhang Li are not true. The two are close friends, and the picture is taken from the gathering with the whole staff," Fantagio Entertainment said as quoted by All Kpop.
These rumors emerged when the two were spotted vacationing in Japan. Photos of their vacation spread online and in Chinese media outlets.
But it appears that things changed since last year and it is apparent that the pair developed a special feeling towards each other. This isn't surprising since they have great chemistry on-screen. With this latest update about the status of Joo Jin Mo and Zhang Li, many fans are pleased and are happy that the two are together.
