Lee Min Ho is currently dating miss A member Suzy while Meryl Streep has been married to Don Gummer since 1978. Aside from their happy love lives, Lee and Streep have several other things in common.
1. They both can sing.
As a singer, Lee released two studio albums. While Streep has not released any studio album as a singer, she has showcased her singing skills both on stage and on the big screen although in "Florence Foster Jenkins," she had to sing off-pitch.
2. They sang soundtracks.
Lee sang the official soundtracks of "Boys Over Flowers," "The Heirs" and "Bounty Hunter." Streep is also credited in the soundtrack of many of her films including "Ricki and the Flash," in which she performed "My Love Will Not Let You Down."
3. They both can act.
It may sound dishonorable to compare Lee and Streep in terms of acting but like the latter, the former has also received several acting awards. Most recently, he received the Top Excellent Award in the Actor in a Fantasy Drama category at the 2016 SBS Drama Awards for his performance in "The Legend of the Blue Sea."
On the other hand, Streep is the actor with the most Academy Award nominations. She won three out of the 20 Oscar nominations she has received.
4. They both studied the arts.
Lee and Streep did not just become actors. Lee majored in Film and Art at Konkuk University while Streep received her Bachelor of Arts cum laude from Vassar College, Master of Fine Arts from the Yale School of Drama and Honorary Doctor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College.
5. June 22 is meaningful to them.
Every June 22, Lee and Streep celebrate their birthdays. This year, the former will turn 30 while the latter will turn 67.
