Taiwanese actress Alyssa Chia joined the growing list of female Chinese celebrities who have given birth in 2017. On March 15, the 42-year-old mother gave birth to her third daughter whom she nicknamed BoBo.
She also posted a photo on social media of her newborn who weighs three kilograms and is 50 centimeters long. On behalf of BoBo, Alyssa Chia posted on Facebook, “I’m very lucky to be born in a family filled with love and with two beautiful sisters who will take care of me,” Toggle quoted.
Three Daughters
The two sisters are Angelina Sun and “Bubu.” All three daughters have doe eyes and small mouths, however, Bobo has dimples and a high nose bridge which came from the genes of her father, Taiwanese actor Xiu Jiekai. In a social media post, the second-time father said he is ready for BoBo.
Angelina Sun is Alyssa Chia’s daughter with Sun Zihao. Because she has three daughters already, the actress said she would not try for a son since Xiu Jiekai prefers daughters. Her husband is considering having Alyssa Chia ligated so they would no longer have another child.
Besides Alyssa Chia, other Chinese female celebrities who have recently gave birth include Ruby Lin and AngelaBaby. Priscilla Chan, wife of Mark Zuckerberg, is expecting a second daughter.
Bubu Loves the Camera
Before she became pregnant with BoBo, Alyssa Chia and Bubu participated in “Super Mom,” a Chinese reality show. When they joined in April, they mother-daughter team were so popular because even if Bubu was just eight months then, she was friendly to the camera and so cute, IBT reported.
The mother said she is willing for Bubu to become a commercial endorser at her young age if a suitable opportunity opens. Most likely, she would also have the same rule for BoBo.
