On May 26, two undefeated female fighters are headlining "ONE Championship: Dynasty of Heroes" at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore. Angela "Unstoppable" Lee, 20, is defending her ONE Women's Atomweight World Champion title against two-time Muay Thai world champion Istela Nunes, 24.
"I think that Istela is a good opponent for me," Lee said on April 26 during an international conference call arranged by ONE Championship. She said she will start the bout against Nunes in a "very explosive" way and "it will be exciting for the fans to see."
"She's a good striker being a two-time Muay Thai world champion," Lee said of Nunes. "But I'm much more well-grounded and I feel like I can take this fight anywhere I wanted. Be it on the feet or on the ground, I'm extremely confident. I'm really looking forward to this fight."
"ONE Championship: Dynasty of Heroes" will have two main events, which involve four undefeated fighters. Co-headlining the event are ONE Welterweight World Champion Ben "Funky" Askren and Agilan "Alligator" Thani, who are also both undefeated fighters. Shinya Aoki and Garry "The Lion Killer" Tonon will compete in a grappling match.
Two more female matches are in the fight card. Rika Ishige and Nita Dea will fight in the atomweight division while Tiffany "The Soul Crusher" Teo and Rebecca "The Professor" Heintzman-Rozewkski will compete in the strawweight division.
Team Lakay's Geje "Gravity" Eustaquio and Anatpong Bunrad will have a rematch in the flyweight division while Chen "Rock Man" Lei and Jeremy Meciaz will compete in the catchweight division and Amir Khan and Rajinder Singh Meena will compete in the lightweight division. Competing in the welterweight division are Zebaztian "The Bandit" Kadestam and Luis "Sapo" Santos, who faced Askren at "ONE FC 26: Valor of Champions" in 2015 but the bout ended with No Contest at 2:19 of Round 1 of 5.
