Justin Bieber made the headlines recently after his Comedy Central roast was recorded but after careful analysis of the rundown of the jokes, it was found out that Bill Cosby was also the butt of the joke during the said roast.
Selena Gomez's name surfaced hours after the roast but what people did not immediately get a hold of was that the comedians that took part of roasting Bieber took the chance to call out on Cosby, who is in the center of sexual allegations since last year.
The 77-year-old comedian has been the target of many comedians since the sexual allegations surfaced such as when Tina Fey and Amy Poehler talked about the "Sleeping Beauty" joke during the Golden Globe Awards.
The roasters were supposed to make fun of Bieber during the roast but comedians such as Hannibal Buress and Snoop Dogg could not resist but call out Cosby. Burress is the comedian who called Cosby a rapist during a show last fall and he was basically the one who jumpstarted the more than two dozens of women coming forward to claim that they were harassed by Cosby.
According to the Washington Post, there were nine Cosby jokes during the Bieber roast. One was when Buress said he does not like Bieber's music and compared it to the hatred that Cosby feels towards Buress' comedy. And another joke was from rapper Snoop Dogg where he congratulated Buress of the only accuser of Cosby that has made a lot of money off of him.
Other comedians such as Pete Davidson and Jeff Ross were also present in the roast and according to Philly.com, Ross and Davidson made fun of Buress as well. Ross shared that Buress' act has "put more people to sleep than roofies" while Davidson shared that Buress only became famous due to his joke about Cosby.
Cosby did not respond to these jabs yet.
