When royals speak out on potentially controversial issues, it generates news; but, when three of the most senior royals do so in the same week and on the same issue, the world takes notice.
It all started during a BBC interview with Prince Charles. He was asked about world leaders gathering in Glasgow for the COP26 climate conference. He said that all they did was talk and that was the real problem is when would there finally be any action to back it up.
He also added that he has been trying to make something happen for over 40 years already.
Prince Charles started working on environmental issues in the 1960s whilst it still wasn't a major concern as it is now. It's now been highly politicized in many parts of the world which includes America.
The Prince has raised his concern even more so now because he has the right to do so.
He is not alone in regards to his stance as his mother, the current monarch expressed the same view in a visit to Cardiff. Whilst attending the Welsh parliament opening, the Queen was caught speaking about the climate conference and said that it's very irritating as they talk but don't take action.
As per CNN, the conversation was caught by a microphone of a nearby camera that was currently live streaming the whole event. The Queen, together with many senior royals are set to attend the United Nations climate talks.
Prince William recently had something to say about billionaires investing in space tourism instead of investing in saving the planet. He said in a BBC Newcast podcast that there is a need for the world's greatest brains to repair and fix the planet and not try to find the next place to live.
This comment was after William Shatner participated in a Blue Origin suborbital flight in which he responded to the prince's comment saying that he was "missing the point."
William went on to say that he wanted to break down and try to work out the possibility of adding something that could create action, positivity, and energy in solving the problems.
The solution he came up with is called "Earthshot," and the aim for it is to be the "most prestigious environment prize in history." Earthshot is also designed to create incentives for change and ultimately help repair the planet over the next decade.
The Royal family has not always been vocal about wearing the crown. However, Charles and William have fantasized about the role and have invigorated the purpose of how today's cultural shifts and ideologies have changed.
