A fan's comment made Sooyoung, a member of the K-pop group Girls' Generation, cry recently. The singer had held a live stream and a fan named Sone made her emotional.
Talking about the group's debut song, the fan said she was in her second year of middle school when the song "Into the New World" came out. Now she is 30 and happy that she got to spend the same generation as Sooyoung, who is lovingly called Unni.
The comment brought tears to Sooyoung's eyes, making her emotional. The singer responded that she had just watched the same music video recently and reminiscing about how young and pretty everyone was. Sone's comment made her cry, the singer said, before congratulating the fan on her 30th birthday and saying being 30 is not that much of a big deal.
Sooyoung also said she was happy for being able to be there for the fan's middle school and high school years. She also asked the fan if she would allow Sooyoung to be a part of her 30s too. The fan said she would do her best.
Meanwhile, in a recent episode of "Ceremony Club" last week, the singer spoke about which career she would have chosen if she did not make a debut as a Girls' Generation member. She confessed that if she hadn't become a celebrity, she would have become a producer.
The singer also added that she is very happy to find out what others are good at and then mix them up well to make content. When questioned what type of content she would produce with Kim Jong Kook, she said would want a reality show around real love. The show would have an observation camera to figure out what is wrong with him.
Sooyoung has also been in the news for opening about her diet before her drama role where she has to look healthy onscreen. The singer lamented that no matter how much she exercises her muscles just don't show up. So after a discussion with her trainer, she chose to go for losing some body fat instead and therefore is on a diet for the first time in her life. She shared her simple diet recipe where she eats tofu noodles instead of regular ones.
Sooyoung then shared a simple diet recipe by replacing regular noodles with tofu noodles. Incidentally, the singer's big appetite is known among her fans, but she has always had a very thin figure.
