BTS 'Permission To Dance' Concert: Know Why K-Pop Megastars Wanted To Cry Before Performance

K-pop super idols BTS said they wanted to cry before their first live conference in two years called "Permission to Dance on Stage". 

The two-time nominated artists took to the stage on Saturday and Sunday night at Los Angeles's SoFi stadium for the first two of their four shows.

At a recent present conference, the Bangtan Boys said they were nervous and afraid to make a mistake during the performance. Despite the nerves, the septet comprising members Jungkook, V, Jimin, J-Hope, Suga, Jin, and RM were excited to be back on stage. 

Jin and Suga said that all seven of them always talk among themselves and huddle in the green room before a concert. Though everyone in the band thought they were going to cry, no one actually did before they performed the first song "On" on stage

Jimin also added they had a case of nerves ahead of the performance. Everyone felt powerless and depressed. They wanted to bring healing to everyone and were back where they belonged, after the Covid-19 pandemic years.

During the press conference, Jungkook said that it didn't seem real until the 2021 American Music Awards. It gave them all of that energy for the first two of their four on-stage live concerts. The boys won big at the AMAs, taking home three awards including the biggest award of the night "Artist of the Year", with which they also created history to be the Asian artist to bag this honor.

RM described the "Permission to Dance on Stage" concert as the beginning of BTS's new chapter and that it got him really emotional beyond words.

Though the pandemic put a stop to live performances, the Bangtan Boys have only risen in popularity across the world with the success of their songs"Permission to Dance", "Life Goes On", and "Dynamite". 

BTS kept a busy schedule even during the pandemic by connecting with ARMY, their fan group through virtual appearances and online concerts.

The K-pop idols also traveled to the US and made a high-profile appearance at the 76th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), their third, in New York.  

They were South Korea's special presidential envoy for future generations. Following their address at UNGA address, the k-pop group also performed their hit English single "Permission to Dance" at the UN headquarters.

Meanwhile, the next two remaining shows of the "Permission to Dance on Stage" concert will take place at the same venue on December 4 and 5.
