The negotiations between United States and other major powers in the past year over Iran's nuclear power program were all not hidden. The CIA and White House officials have suspected that Israel had been closely spying all their talks.
This master stroke was played by the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in his efforts to drive a perfect plan against Iran. This was the reason that the Israeli government was able to build effective cases against the emerging terms of their talks.
The officials also stated that the Israeli government had complete information of all U.S briefings, governments and its contacts in Europe. A former official told The Washington Street Journal that this claim didn't upset the White House as much as the Israeli government.
A senior U.S official briefed the social media on this matter by saying, "It is one thing for the U.S and Israel to spy on each other. It is another thing for Israel to steal U.S secrets and play them back to U.S legislators to undermine U.S. diplomacy."
The relationship between Israel and the U.S. has been greatly affected due to Iran's nuclear program. Both allies have been reported to share secret information about threats and other global happenings in the past few decades.
The Israeli officials have claimed that this is only misconception created by the people who are against the friendship of US. On Monday, the White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough told The Sydney Herald, "We cannot simply pretend that these comments were never made."
This statement shows that the U.S will still try to investigate whether the claim made has any truth in it or not. The relations between both countries are getting more hostile day by day.
