Former "High School Musical" star Vanessa Hudgens revealed in an interview with the New York Times that dating Zac Efron made her feel like she was so mean because she was so fed up with the situation.
She pointed out that being with someone from Hollywood and having a public relationship was like a roller coaster ride for her because a lot of girls were running after the hunky actor. The two have been together for five years and she noted that the attention he got from the many female fans was the problem.
Hudgens even gave these fans death stares whenever they attempt to get close to Efron. However, she pointed out that she realized she should just spread the love, be a good person and be nice.
Aside from her revelation regarding her struggles while being with her ex-boyfriend, she also talked about her new boyfriend Austin Butler, whom she lives with and she gushed about him noting that he is the reason for her renewed passion for Christianity. She used to be a Roman Catholic but is now a member of the Australian mega church, Hillsong.
Aside from that, she was also interviewed about her current role in a musical as Gigi and she plays the role of a girl who pushes the boundaries and is a free-spirited courtesan-in-training. Her character will be having an out-of-the-ordinary friendship with a wealthy playboy and Hudgens shared that she felt like she was representing feminists because her role is about girl power.
Meanwhile, Hollywood Life shared that Efron is now in a new relationship with model Sami Miro and even went on a double date with Zedd and Selena Gomez. Efron has been linked to other Hollywood stars such as Lindsay Lohan, Michelle Rodriguez, and Lily Collins.
