Microsoft Surface Pro 4 release date is still unclear whether it will take place in the summer or in the fall.
Reports claimed that the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will be released in July this year as the Surface Pro 3 will celebrate its first birthday soon, according to Inquisitr.
However, Christian Times reported that the tablet-laptop hybrid will be unveiled in the fall or sometime in October. There is a huge possibility that Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will take a jab on the next generation of iPad.
Microsoft will surely announce a Surface Pro 4 as the current tablet grabbed the "best tablet award" at the GSMA ceremony at the recently concluded Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Surface Pro 3 won the hearts of 300 tech experts and was named as the best among other tablets, including Apple iPad Air 2, Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, Google Nexus 9, and Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact.
Rumor has it that Microsoft will up its game by releasing two variants of the tablet-laptop hybrid - one with 12-inch screen panel and another one with 14-inch display. Both versions will sport a 2160 x 1440 screen resolution. Aside from more options in screen display, the device will also pack Intel Core M Broadwell chip paired with Windows 10 OS as well as 16 GB of RAM and a storage capacity of 1 TB.
One of the main advantages of the Surface Pro 4 over other tablets is the fact that it will run with the new Windows 10 operating system. The said OS offers borderless transfer from desktop to mobile devices and vice versa. Moreover, the software can run both mobile and desktop apps.
There is a high chance that the Surface Pro 4 will have the same target market as before due to the success the line garnered this year.
